Since Saturday afternoon, the MySQL database on my dedicated server has been giving me and my users 'error 28' when trying to access certain sites. PhpMyAdmin still works, as do several Invision Power Board forums hosted on my server and a chat script with mysql backend. For most other scripts, however, including SMF, 4images gallery, and all other scripts, mysql simply produces an error 28. I've done my research on that error, and obviously taken the steps of making sure I've got plenty of space free on all partitions, etc. Does anyone have any ideas about what could be causing this ? Any help is greatly appreciated.
