way to scan server for specific scripts?
Is this possible?
With the known security loopholes in many of these programs, I'd like to ensure that they are at least kept up to date by my clients. Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to search for them other than going directory by directory through shell. That's what I had to do with the last big phpBB worm issue. NOT a fun process.
So, is there a way of scanning the server to find specific programs/scripts?
