server hangs on reboot - but not on forced
i have a new server with centos 4 at layeredtech and nothing special installed on it yet. whenever i do a "reboot" it simply hangs - ping does not respond - i cannot do anythen except contacting support to reboot it the hard way.
maybe the reason is that some service is not stopping correctly.
but if i do in WHM a forced reboot, it works very well.
so, is there a way to use this "whm-forced-reboot" by commandline too?
or is there a way to find out why it hangs and to fix this?
