how to extract .tar.bz2 files

I'm trying to extract this file: prozgui-2.0.5beta.tar.bz2 with tar and it keeps on hanging after issuing this command:

tar -xj prozgui-2.0.5beta.tar.bz2

I've tried many combinations, could someone tell me how to extract these kinds of files? Thanks.
