private nameservers setup problems w/ FC2, newb!
I have a dedicated server with FDCservers and they dont provide nameservers like my old hosts did. So I followed the popular guide to setup my own nameservers here:

So I followed it pretty much to the point and did all the manual checks. But Its been almost 3 days now and its still not working with my domain.
I setup the name server function at my registrar and that was almost 3 days ago. At the same time I redelegated the domain to the new nameservers. (ns1.videojunky.net ns2.videojunky.net).
Now heres the part I'm freaking out about:
the main domain videojunky.net wont get any pings (and of course no http with it)but if you wait like a minute while pinging any of the nameservers i setup it'll go through and show the correct corresponding IPs.
Okay so I'm no hosting expert but doesnt that mean my domain nameservers got propagated? And if thats right then shouldnt my domain name be propagated to the new nameservers by now?
And heres the side details, I'm running fedora core 2, and everything is green except Bind 9.2.3
I tried updating it with up2date but it didnt do anything.
Its been failed ever since i setup the nameservers.
Should it be failed until everything is propagated with my domain ppl? But I think that my domain is all ready and my server side has the problem...
Someone please help me and explain.
I've gone through at least 15 different forum posts (this site and others) on this topic and nothing has really helped.
