AWStats Problem

I've just tried installing AWStats on my new server, yet whenver I try to view it or run it I get an Internal Server Error.

Apache error log says the following about this:

[Fri Jul 01 16:24:27 2005] [error] [client 86.132.201.247] (13)Permission denied: exec of '/usr/local/awstats/wwwroot/cgi-bin/awstats.pl' failed
[Fri Jul 01 16:24:27 2005] [error] [client 86.132.201.247] Premature end of script headers: awstats.pl

Does anyone have any suggestion?
