Adelphia blocking foreign SMTP?

Does anyone here use Adelphia as a cable Internet provider? And if so, did they begin banning remote SMTP connections today or so?

This morning my mom mentioned she was having trouble with her e-mail.

I didn't think much of it, but mutt's failing to send mail for an unknown reason. We both use foreign (non-Adelphia) SMTP servers.

It's possible that both of our mailservers are experiencing problems, but thought I'd ask.
