AMD Athlon 64 2800+ vs Barton 3000+

Hey guys I need your help to choose a server.
AMD Athlon 64 2800+
1GB RAM
64-Bit CentOS

is much faster than
Barton 3000+
1GB RAM

or differences are not visible in web production?

Server with Athlon 64 is a little expensive than Barton 3000+.
