How is spamassassin invoked on cpanel?

I need to change a few parameters for starting up spamd, but I'm not sure how it's called. The box is running cpanel, and I think exim calls spamd when it receives mail, but I checked exim.conf and can't find anything about spamd.

I also checked the configuration files for spamassassin, but I haven't found a place to change the parameters yet. Any ideas? Does anyone know?
