Hey folks, I have a user who's complaining because Apache runs as "nobody" on my server -- he uses a content management system (PHP) that sometimes writes files to his html directory. He's complaining because the files are owned by "nobody" rather than by him, so he can't edit them or delete them. He tells me that "Using previous web hosts, my web applications normally run as my username which would give them the ability to upload documents with my username" -- is this true? Do other people run apache as the user (I'm not sure how this would work -- maybe somebody could point me in the right direction to find out more about this kind of setup for apache).
