I can't publish my website from the hosting server to my laptop (XP pro). Think it is a timing-out problem as I could publish a smaller test website. When attempting to publish my main site, after about an hour I get the "could not find web server at xxx on port 80..." message. (those stat files sure take a long time to download--do I need them?)
I've tried on and off for 6 months to fix this--hate to think I'm SOL if my hosting company messes up my website as I don't have a copy on my new computer. I'd would REALLY appreciate anyone's suggestions on this matter.
