wierd dns problem

I have created a new domain using WHM and all looks fine, zone template looks ok etc.

When I browse to the site using www the correct site comes up
When I browse with just the domain name another site hosted on my server comes up.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

edit: have just found out that pinging with and without the www reports different IP's
