windows 2000 server dns connecting to random port! HELP.

Running a win2000 server DNS
I am trying to configure a software firewall.
Everytime the DNS server starts is listen on port 53, which it should,

but also is randomly listening a a couple other ports,
like 1024, 1025 or 1371, 1372, 389 the port lists seems to be growing..

Should it be listening or connecting on ports other than 53??

Am I being hacked through my dns somehow??

Ive run virus scan, and found nothing.

If I only let dns have access to port 53, it can do resolve local domain names only.

Thanks..

Joe
