subdomain on remote server - Help!
I have a subdomain set up as a unique account under WHM. The main domain points to the shared IP address of the account. (Reseller a/c)
All was working well, but suddenly, today bandwidth use went through the roof thanks to googlebot.
What I have found is that every single domain on that shared IP has been hit, repeatedly, with the url being thatdomain.com/~subdomain
The bandwidth has been hit so hard that a number of my other client accounts were suspended before I realised what was happening.
Somewhere, it seems there is a problem with the subdomain being pointed to by the parent domain, and this appears to be attaching to all domains under that shared IP.
I'm at my wits end trying to fix this.
Any ideas?
