running own rackspace

Hello, investigating the possibility of getting 1/4 rack space for my servers, trouble is i know nothing about managing or setting up rackspace.

Search ggogle and this froum but cannot find any guides. Looking to find out information on such things as:

Switches
Power/APC
Bandwidth control for dedicated server
Firewalls
NAS

anyone point me right direction?
