Why IBM does not like FreeBSD?
IBM hardwares support Linux not FreeBSD. I am sure that FreeBSD will run on most of them. Many IBM softwares are designed, tested under Linux, especially RedHat, but never ever on FreeBSD.IBM seems to love Linux more. Is it because Linux is more free than FreeBSD in their GNU License terms? For example FreeBsd can not be shipped with IBM hardware but Linux can?
I know FreeBSD is short on SMP front. Is Linux basically better on advanced hardwares, such as 64bit, more processors etc.
Many claim that FreeBSD's linux ports are better than linux native, but why Cpanel has so many problems with FreeBSD?
