transfer to new machine
I have two machines both win2k3,IIS 6.0 and MsSql 7.0.
One of them has all my webs and data on it right now. The other is just clean post install version. I want to transfer everything from to the other so that i can wipeout the original one. What would be the best way to transfer everything??
I know i can transfer all databases with mssql enterprise tool but what about IIS configuration and the files ? Should i just copy all the files and then add every single web in IIS or create a simple backup then copy it to new server and then restore it, would it work this way ? Or maybe there is some other simple way to that ??
