DNS Question?
I have my name servers setup through godaddy, where ns1 and ns2 have their assigned ip addresses of my server. I give all my clients the ns1 and ns2 names, but not the actually ip address.
If I moved my clients to a new server, then logged in to godaddy and only change the ips for the existing name servers, how fast would the change occur? Does DNS propogation still matter here if I'm not changing dns names, just the ip address? If it wouldn't be nearly instant, would one of these dns services that advertise instant dns changes be a good idea?
