newbie with SSH, PUTTY
I have maybe been a webmaster now for 6-7 years and I have a dedicated server at the planet, but now I need some space on my hard disc and some of my logs are 10GB and they wont delete those.
How can I delete those, I got the putty software and I know how to log in, but thats it, I tried to read a little about linux comands..., but I dont get it and if I dont dare to do anything.
I got this

but shall I do, I tried to type this - du -ch --max-depth=1 - but nothing.
Why shall it be such a pain just to delete some files and why does it have to look like old dos.
