Quickest security updates -- which OS?
Hi all,Which OS typically gets out patches for security vulnerablities the quickest? How do the main server operating systems compare?
I'm thinking about Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Debian, etc.), Solaris 10, and Free/Open/Net BSD.
I figure some of you who have been around and maintaining servers for a few years would have a good sense of which operating systems gets their security paches out quickly on a consistant basis -- and which leave you vulnerable to recently publicized vulnerablities longer than others do.
Please do tell!
Thanks!
