e-mail "From" shows harvey@creek.securenet-server.net on behalf of ...

I recently moved a website to a hosting company that uses Cpanel on a linux server. When e-mails are received the from address appears OK on the Outlook summary page. But when you open the e-mail the from address includes the mail server information. This confuses users. The web hosting company claims that this is a security feature on their shared hosting packages.

Is this really a setup issue? Can I override it to eliminate the hosting information within the e-mail?
