Understanding DNS and giving IP to DNS

Hi Guys,

I'm thinking about this logic, while it sound logical, I don't know if it is of any benefits at all.

Example 1:

I have a server with an IP end 123. I want to setup my DNS on this server thus i put NS1 to 123 and NS2 to 124. This way, I'm sharing my server and NS1 to one IP that is 123. Is this good? For me, I don't think it is good. I would prefer this way.

Example 2:

The server IP:123 NS1 IP: 124 NS2 IP: 125. So when I set up all the domains on the server, the domains will be tag to the server IP that is 123.

This way, in future when I decide to run a dedicated DNS server, I can just transfer NS1 and NS2 to the DNS server without causing problem to the hosting server. Is that right?

If I go with example 1: when I move the NS1 (sharing the server IP) and NS2 to the DNS sever, I will either need to change the hosting server to a new IP or change my NS1 to a new IP? Is that right? This will great more work. If I choose to change the hosting server IP, I have to change all the domains that previously tag to the shared IP to the new IP on that hosting server?

Man, I hope you guys get what I'm saying here, I also abit confuse. Sorry guys, I'm trying to learn here sorry if what I write above sound stupid Understanding DNS and giving IP to DNS

Your opinion.........
