Hi, our company is a fairly new and growing hosting company. One of our hosting clients requested that they have temporary telnet access for their domain to install an IRC server. I am curious about how an IRC Server will affect my server's performance and what vulnerabilities/problems can I run into if I allow it. Do you allow your customers to host these? I am not familuar with IRC chat servers at all so any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated!
