Problem that doesn't involve servers. Logitech LX 700

Maybe someone here can answer this question. I purchased a Logitech LX 700. However, there seems to be half second delay from when I hit the keys to when the letter shows up on the screen. IE, a half second lag.

There is NOTHING on the internet about how to fix this, nor is there any on the logitech website. Does anyone know any tricks up there sleeves to fix this annoying problem?
