Cygwin and grep
I have found that the windows find utility does not work with PHP code. So I have decided to use GREP.
The command line grep I tried was a trial version and did not search enough levels into subdirectories -- basically, it is useless to me.
I heard that grep came with CYGWIN and so I have been looking at this UNIX user interface.
How do I use this thing? It has a dollar prompt like VAX/VMS or UNIX but I guess it is pointing to some place on the hard drive. if I want to use GREP from this interface, I will need to know how to express files on my hard drive.
