Hello: currently i'm running a dedicated server with Kernel version 2.4.21-32.0.1... i believe the new kernel is 2.6.12.5. would any security expert advise that i upgrade to the new kernel? by keeping the kernel that i currently have, does that mean i'm vulnerable to being hacked? the problem is that my hosting provider does not support the new kernel... i guess because Red Hat does not support kernel 2.4.21-32.0.1. please advise.
