Giant Spam Assassin Server

Needing to build probably a rack of servers for a huge spam filtering project. Gong to be using Exim and Spam Assassin and trying to figure out how much computing power I need.

First - it has to be able to process up to 200,000 messages an hour.

Then - the structure of the system. I'm thinking of having dedicated SA processing servers and have Exim on the front end to presecrren and buffer incomming email. That way it can be fast to get the mail in and store it up until SA can process it.

So - anyone out there with big spam filtering have any advice for me?

I'm thinking Fedora Core 4 64 bit and Opterons. Just how many is the question. Maybe dual core dual opteron boxes with 16 gigs ram each? But how many of them?
