eth0 not loading after reboot?

Hi, i did a graceful reboot (cpanel/centos 3.4 solution) after a scripts/upcp that put my server with centos 3.5.

My server didnt came up again, so i ask for manual reboot for my IDC, they did and came up again. So here is what he said to me:

"Hello, I have the machine up and pinging, but just so you know I don't think your eth0 is not loading up at bootup, I have to start the network when it boots up. Just thought you might want to know about that. so if you reboot you will have to get one of us to start the network. "

So i´m thinking... what happens? How can I see if network is starting?

Help please.
