Manually Changing cPanel's bind entries

So, as many of you are probably aware, cPanel made us change our hostnames to comply with their new licensing.

Out hostname got changed to something, but there's no A record for it, which is causing an unspeakable number of problems. (Including an inability to get into cPanel/WHM, it cites an invalid license file still.)

Is there a way I can, from the command line, manually insert an A record and reload bind? I've never worked with bind, and I don't know if cPanel's got its own wrappers around it.
