how to restart mysql server ?
and we made a my.cnf in /etc/my.cnf as we having problems regarding too many users on the forum at one time
and now we are unable to restart mysql server if some one can tell me hwo to restart mysql server plz
and have i setup the .cnf file at the right place or not plz advise as we are suffering from major site crashes due to too many connections
and is there a way to know if ur mysql was compiled using linux threads or not as it was done by the hosting company
