External Hard Drive
I bought a maxtor external 200 gb hard drive few days ago. The problem with it is that If I shut down the computer and leave the hard drive on, when I turn it back on it gets to the windows login screen and my keyboard doesn't work at that point. Same thing happens if the computer and hard drive are on, and I restart the computer. When it comes back to login screen the keyboard doesn't work. I have to turn the hard drive and the computer off, turn the computer on, log in and then turn the hard drive back on. Any ideas why is this happening?
