cpimap and secure password authentication?
I am told by my e-mail client (Thunderbird) that my IMAP server does not support secure authentication.
I am running a cPanel server and are using the out-of-the-box cpimap service. The problem with cpimap is that I can't seem to find any documentation on it. Is this because cpimap is just an alias for an underlying service that is just cPanel branded, or?
The server lets me use a secure connection (SSL), but as described I am not allowed to use secure authentication.
Does anybody have a solution for this? How do I set up cpimap to offer secure authentication?
