How to see running applications on Linux server?
I have been facing with a problem on our linux server lately.
While everything looks working fine, suddenly, server starts responding very late.
I see that server load reaches upto 70 - 80, once i have seen even 95. When i see bandwith graphs of the server, i dont see any abnormal traffic. When i check number of connections made to server, it also looks fine, not more than 500.
I am suspicious that one of the sites which uses php nuke modules is having problems.
My question:
-Is there any software which will keep an eye on the server and warns me up if there is anything abnormal?
- How can i find out CPU usage of each domian name on the server?
