cisco nm-16esw
wondering if anybody knows, with a nm-16esw installed in a router, how does this module interface the routers backplane.
what i am getting at is, my router has a nm-16esw and a nm-1ge , what i am looking to do is have ~200mbit traffic on the gige network module, which I would like to be a combination of 4 x 50mbit on on four of the ports on the nm-16esw
but i am not sure if the interconnect from the switchmodule to the router itself is only 100meg or if its gig. i basically want to put several switches on the nm-16esw and push a total of 500mbit through it into the router and back out the nm-1ge
any idea? i want to avoid buying another router i already have some 3700 stuff
