Linux single NIC multiple IP addresses

I'm trying to setup IP aliases with Linux Fedora Core 3.  Can someone explain how to configure multiple IP's onto a single NIC (for name based virtual hosting).

I'm not sure on the exact procedure to do this with Linux -- Thanks!
