htaccess security advice
I'm new at webhosting and I was wondering about htaccess.
My basic question: is htaccess insecure to allow on a shared webhost? I currently have it disabled because I thought it was.
I know you can modify things like max_execution_time in PHP etc and there are certain limits I've set to those things purposefully that I really dont want modified.
I was just wondering what are the dangers of htaccess if any, or is it no danger with the right confuration? If thats the case does anyone have a tutorial on how to make htaccess secure to use?
