Which compression method to use?
I'm currently trying to upload a large .sql file from my local computer (win xp) to my Linux server. Just wondering, what's a good compression method to use that is compatible between Windows (ie: Winzip) and the server? Do standard linux servers support the zip format as far as uncompressing?
