Linux Software RAID 5 rebuilding?
I am just wondering how easy/difficult it is to rebuild "software" RAID5 on Linux server?
How would it compare to a hardware raid 5 or even hardware raid 5 in terms of performance? - considering all raid level using the same drives.
If anyone has done this before, could you please share your experience? What problems might come up when rebuilding in case a drive fails?
