Simple Question about PINE 4.44 on Linux

I have approximately 95 contacts saved in my PINE address book. If I remember correctly, an ex coworker of mine, who also used PINE, was able to compose an email by simply opening a new message (using the "C" command) and simply type in the person's first name without having to type in the complete email address and the name/email address would come right up....I'm not lazy per se', I was just curious if it could still be done or if I still have to type the email address, or go into the address book and select the option to compose an email to that specific person. I checked the PINE configuration and I did not see an option to do such a thing, however, I skimmed the area, I did not read.

I don't check this as often as I used to, so if you have the solution, could you please email me?
