Dual AMD Opteron Model 246 or Dual Intel Xeon 2.8Ghz
I have read lots of feedback regarding both processors around WHT. Also I have checked numerous reviews about them including the benchmarking results. However, I would like to ask your opinion for my specific case.
I would like to purchase a server for purely web hosting solutions. There will be database load as well, but not that high I presume.
I have two options:
Dual Amd Opteron Model 246
or
Dual Intel Xeon 2.8GHz (800FSB/1MB)
Ram: 2GB DDR 333 ECC REG
Which one will be better solution for web hosting purposes?
