I'm trying to understand the cause of a delay of aprox 200 ms between two nodes that I get whet tracerouting 213.217.40.166 (an ISP in Tehran). I tried it from different starting locations (London, Paris, Hague, Bucharest), the route allways went thru Amsterdam, and all traces show a similar delay of aprox 200 ms from one node in flagtel.com (62.216.129.37) to the next node in jointtransit.ams2.flagtel.com (62.216.145.62). For example, if you tracert it from London, the jump is from 17 ms to 277 ms. Any ideea about the cause, is this normal? Thanks, Liviu
