Looking for optimal DNS setup for VPS + cpanel + managed DNS
I have domains registered in a managed DNS service provider and I use their DNS servers.
Should I register my domain ( for e.g. mydomain-com ) or my subdomains ( for e.g. www-mydomain-com ) into the managed DNS system? Which one works more smoothly with cpanel/whm VPS system?
And one whm cpanel question. Should I create accounts with domains in whm and then create subdomains for those accounts in cpanel? Or should I create accounts with subdomains directly in whm? Again which method is more "cpanel friendly".
I will have control of all the accounts and domains on that VPS so I can choose whichever setup is the most flexible, reliable and most compatible with cpanel/whm.
