what is the unneeded users ?
i have just receive my new Linux Box...
i note that /etc/passwd file contains many default users :

shutdown

ident
sshd
SSH
rpc
rpcuser
nfsnobody
mailnull
smmsp
pcap

mysql
cpanel
mailman
i don think a hosting PROVIDER server will need all these users such as : games ....
wich users can i delete the saftely without any kind of problems ?
