Typical Reseller issues
Need some tried and tested advice.
I have two questions
1) How to capture all outgoing mails from mail.somedomain.com?
Suppose I have 10 active email a/c email1@domain, email2@domain....email10@domain. Now I want to create email11@domain. This email11@domain should be the backup email a/c i.e. all incoming emails to email1@ to email10@ should be saved in email11. At the same time all outgoing mails i.e. mails sent by email1 to email10 should be saved in email11@domain
In short any email coming in or going out should be captured.
I know one way is to use MS Outlook and under message rules any email sent will be cc to email11.
But is there any easy way (like capturing incoming mail - just add a forwarder) for capturing outgoing mails for each mail sent from smtp.mydomain.com?
I am looking at some setting at server level for reseller shared server. i.e. many a/cs on one server. For both Cpanel as well as Hsphere?
Some of my clients are Lawyer firm, Accounting Auditing firm and they want this type of security. They are paranoid about what is going out from their computers/email ids. So they want to keep a tab on what email is going out.
2) Question no 2 is, any easy to use Mailing software either desktop or server based for mass emailing.
Some clients have thousands of users, e.g. One school has hundred of students. , one accounting/auditing firm has few thousand clients, So every now and then they have to mass mail. I am talking abt just few thousand email ids, not greater 3000 at a time. Various ISPs allow only 50 or 99 mails in one bath or one hours etc.
What is the best software you guys can suggest so only one configuration / scheduling will keep on sending batches of email. And the office admin person does not have to copy paste 50 email ids at one time, compose a email and sent it every now and then, till the mailing list is complete.
