After upgrading apache 1.3.x to apache 2.x on redhat Linux the webs do not show.

After upgrading apache 1.3.x to apache 2.x on redhat Linux the webs do not show.
I have Ensim pro on this redhat Linux box.
If i restart the redhat server the sites come up for about 2 or 3 minutes then they go offline again.
Is there a way to downgrade back to the original apache without messing up the configurations with ensim, if so can i have the commands and steps to fix this please.
Or if you have an alternate solution that would be helpful also right now i only have ssh access all the ensim stuff is down due to the apache. I believe the new and old version apache is conflicting somehow i stopped the apache service doing apachectl stop and restarted it the sites come up for about 2 mins then go down again.
Could someone please help?
