Need to recover a partition

I accidentally deleted the wrong partition. I have a backup external hard drive which I backed all my files up onto before reinstalling my OS on my main computer.

As I reinstalled the OS on my main computer, I accidentally deleted BOTH partitions....the hard drive where the OS was supposed to go, and my backup as well.

How can I recover that information? You can imagine....I'm just devastated. It had hundreds of hours worth of coding, etc.
