Problems with high load.
Today I was doing full backup with Direct Admin and the load was 140 and CPU usage 800%(?) and the server died.
Tech said it was software related and she had to disable snort, apf and iptables to get the server to work again.
I think it has something to do with heat, because it works fine for about 10 minutes high load befor it dies.
Is there any software/script to test memory, hdd and cpu?
server specs:
Celeron 2,4
1gb ram
120gb hdd
CentOS 4
Direct Admin
