Need help setting up CNAME alias on 1and1.com

I am having a problem setting up a CNAME record on 1and1.com. What I want to do is host the mail for one of my domains at another server. I had no problem changing the MX records and can access webmail; however I need to setup some CNAME aliases to be able to access mail via pop and imap. I need to map as follows:

mail - map to pop.secureserver.net
email - map to email.secureserver.net

My problem is I have no clue as to what format to enter these aliases. I am attaching a link to a screenshot from the 1and1 control panel. I can't physically post a link as I am new here but it's there for one to cut and paste. Basically all that is there is a blank to enter the alias. Thanks in advance for any help.
