Odd... High Memory + Server Load
Processor - AMD Athlon 64 2800+ 1.8GHz
RAM - 1 Gigabyte PC3200 DDR RAM
Storage - 120 Gigabyte Serial ATA Hard Drive
Bandwidth - 1200GB/mo.
The only problem that I'm having now is the server's memory, swap and load goes crazy whenever I have even a small number of people on my IPB forum. I had about 50 people on earlier and the load went up to 16% and the memory was above 90. The whole site slowed to a crawl (like on my old server when I had 150+ people on) so I had to rename my forums directory so that I could log in to my WHM and reboot the server to try and get things useable again.
Just a little while ago I had about 90 people on and the load was past 35, which is definitely not good... I know that something must be wrong, but I'm not sure what it could be. Does anyone have any ideas?
