Server load and other status values

What does the Server Load value in the Status panel of cPanelX in my reseller account mean? What values might suggest the server is being overloaded?

For example, just now I refreshed it and I got:

Server load: 7.30 (4 CPUs)
Memory used: 26.4%
Swap used: 4.14%

I know what the other things mean, but I don't know what values are healthy or not.

When I first put my site on this server, the server load was usually below 2, and it was really quick.
